However, the strategic alliances and friendships with schools and educators throughout Virginia established during Horizons' twenty-five year history remain intact even as new client relationships proliferate. During its two decade existence, Horizons has positively impacted thousands of high school students. Horizons has established a reputation unparalleled among numerous high school administrators, guidance counselors, and teachers for its curriculum used to prepare students for the SAT (Reasoning Exam). Extensive empirical data exists to prove conclusively the effectiveness of the Horizons method. The average Horizons student realizes nearly a 300-point increase on their cumulative Reasoning test score. An unequivocal standard for quality service and most importantly, significant results, has earned Horizons a direct access to schools unrivaled in its industry.  Horizons' goal is to enable its students to attend the college of their choice rather than merely go to any school that will accept them.
