EOTAS
Our EOTAS provision for primary and secondary school students is delivered by qualified teachers.
Our staff also have extensive experience of working with the families of students in similar situations. We have vast experience of maximising engagement and providing solutions to ensure large strides of progress are achieved.
Our course
We can provide either short or long term placements. Each placement starts with an initial assessment and concludes with a final assessment to provide evidence of a student's progress.
The Horizons Learning Journey
Our staff will provide each student with access to a core curriculum of maths and English and can have additional options including science, history, geography etc attached depending on the individual student.
The aim of the provision is to ultimately support the student in reengaging with education
In addition we will also provide a range of therapeutic lessons designed to provide opportunities for tangible, successful outcomes for the child (e.g. art/craft/design technology/computing).
Tracking and Monitoring
All student will all be provided with a daily report that details engagement, progress and areas for further development.
Group size
We offer placements for either 1:1 or small groups of 2:1, 3:1 or a maximum of 5:1
Our students receive high levels of individual attention and support and ensure that they can build their confidence and belief in themselves.
We provide a core of English, maths and science with additional sessions of art available.
